Baylan Skoll Cosplay Armor Kit – DIY Print Kit

Description

This is an unofficial, fan-made armor kit inspired by Star Wars Baylan Skoll Cosplay Armor designed by Galactic Armory. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Select your setup and material configuration from the dropdown.

The forearms are split into 2 halves each with alignment tabs to help keep them together. I’d recommend using elastic bands to hold them in place.

Default scaling benchmarks

• Default Armor Scale: Fits a 6’0″ individual.
• Custom scaling is available in the order notes at checkout or by messaging dimensions later. (Required Measurements list available.)

Q: What size measurements do you need?
A: If you would like custom scaling, I will need the following measurements listed below in inches. Because I hand-craft these to order, I typically build a small amount of extra clearance into the armor to allow for your clothing, soft parts, or foam padding — unless you specifically ask me not to! When you order, just copy and paste this list into the order notes with your numbers:

• Shoulder (circumference under the arm pit and over the shoulder):
• Bicep (circumference & length):
• Forearm (circumference & length from elbow to wrist):
• Elbow (circumference):
• Wrist (circumference):
• Hand (width across the knuckles):

Premium material options

• PLA+ Filament Variant: Rigid, sturdy foundation in high-grade PLA+, easy to sand and paint.
• Flexible TPU Filament Variant: Rubberized TPU for high-wear joints; requires longer print times, pre-split sections, and patient post-processing.

Q: Which is more durable?
A: TPU is significantly more durable than PLA+ under almost all physical conditions. While PLA Plus remains a rigid plastic that will eventually crack or shatter under intense stress. TPU is a rubber-like elastomer that excels in high-wear environments.

Important DIY kit notes

• Unfinished raw DIY kit requiring sanding, priming, painting, and gluing (FastCap 2P-10 recommended).
• Large elements may be printed in keyed, interlocking segments.
• Avoid heat exposure (hot cars, direct sunlight) to prevent PLA+ warping.

Q: Do you offer prepped and painted kits?
A: Not at this time! Because I hand-scale each of these kits myself, the massive amount of physical labor, sanding, and cure time required to finish armor would mean making fewer kits for the community. I focus all my energy on delivering high-quality, raw 3D prints so you get a perfect blank canvas. This keeps the cost down for you and gives you complete freedom to customize the final colors and weathering exactly how you want! Plus, I share tons of step-by-step finishing tips on my social channels so anyone can learn to do this themselves.

Shipping & shop policies

• Made to order: Please allow up to 3 weeks for printing and shipping.
• Cancellations: Accepted strictly within 24 hours of purchase.
• Returns & Exchanges: All sales are final, but exceptions can be made for size exchanges.
• Issue Resolution: If your kit arrives damaged from transit, please message me immediately with photos so I can fix it for you!

Q: What if it doesn’t fit?
A: Getting a perfect fit is my top priority, which is why every piece is accurately scaled right out of the gate to your provided measurements. If your order arrives and doesn’t fit quite right, please reach out to me immediately so we can sort it out. Since I handle every step of this shop alone, I just ask that you check your armor as soon as it arrives. Please note that while I’m happy to fix initial sizing issues, I can’t replace armor for body changes or weight loss months down the line.
